He first found that the slam tilt on the front door was not connected.  Then he found that the 3 wires that would connect to that slam tilt were just terminated in the front of the door.  He connected one wire to the slam tile to make it work, then tucked the others away with a zip tie.  After fixing the slam tile, he found the drop targets on the lower right playfield (which you use to get more of the &#8220;right-alley return kickback&#8221; credits) were shorting or acting up, which he fixed.  There was also a pinched wire in along the right lower playfield, perhaps where it got pinched when the playfield was lift up\/down. We read about a second tilt on the upper playfield but could not find one.  He said the main tile on the lower right side of the cabinet has a diode that could be bad and I could replace it but his guess was that it was a short.  After fixing the drop targets, I have not been able to get it to tilt again so far, but it is still not known to be fixed.  Also, those same drop targets were firing up (to get returned to the up position) repeatedly during a game so that might need some tuning.   I read <a href=\"https:\/\/pinside.com\/pinball\/forum\/topic\/black-knight-keeps-tilting\">this forum post<\/a> which pointed out that there was an owner who found that &#8220;<em>the culprit was the tilt switch at the end of the ball roll path (the one that prevents people from lifting up the front of the game)<\/em>.<em> I fixed it by bending it back<\/em>&#8220;.   Another poster mentioned &#8220;<em>Well I found the bad switch. It is the extra ball switch on the left ramp. For now, I just put some tape between the contacts so I can play the game (but no extra balls that way). I will dig in further tomorrow.
